Ben Jones
With over 13 years of experience in industrial design and product development, Ben leads Enki with a deep understanding of what it takes to bring complex consumer products to market. His career began at Dyson, where he helped engineer and develop high-performance products in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. Since then, Ben has founded several successful consumer brands and guided dozens of startups through the critical path from idea to successful product launch.

Kieran is a product development expert with 20 years of experience in consumer electronics, white goods, and automotive. With 10 years at Dyson and 7 at Indesit, he brings strong mechanical engineering, hands-on technical ability, and DFM expertise across the full product development cycle. He consistently delivers high-performing solutions to complex problems.

James Nelson is a highly experienced design and engineering professional with over 15 years in the industry, including 12 years at Dyson. He has worked across a wide range of products—from audio and wearables to health tech and home appliances—bringing a strong focus on innovation, versatility, and rapid learning.
Senior Design EngineerArran Smith
Arran is an award-winning design engineer with over 15 years of experience creating innovative consumer products. As a named inventor on Dyson icons like the Airwrap™, Corrale™ straightener, and Air Multiplier™ fans, he brings deep expertise in personal care, home appliances, and sustainable design. He has also developed patented innovations in kitchen products and played a key role in the development of the Dyson Airblade™ hand dryer and Airblade Tap™.

John is a highly skilled mechanical design engineer with over 13 years at Dyson, where he worked across both NPI and NPD teams in multiple product categories. With earlier experience at D3O in impact protection, he brings deep expertise in CAD, prototyping, testing, and research-led development.

David is a key part of our team, with deep expertise in firmware, hardware, and software development. With 13 years at Dyson, he’s delivered innovative, electronics-driven solutions across multiple product categories. Passionate about sustainability, David brings a purpose-led approach to engineering—combining technical skill with a drive to create smarter, more responsible products.
Senior Design EngineerOliver Hoare
Oliver Hoare is a product design engineer with experience at Dyson, Pure Electric, and Aston Martin. He has taken three hardware products from concept through to production, working across mechanical engineering, industrial design, mechatronics, and DFM. Oliver specialises in solving complex technical product challenges while working within the tight timelines and financial constraints.
Design EngineerYusuf Moola
Yusuf Moola is a mechanical engineer with close to a decade of hands-on experience spanning industrial machine design, conveyor systems, furniture and retail fixture design, signage, and product development. His work bridges the gap between engineering rigour and manufacturing reality; from heavy industrial environments to consumer-facing retail and product applications. Grounded in first-principles mechanical engineering and sharpened by direct factory-floor exposure, he brings a practical, systems-level perspective to every project, whether it involves custom automation, structural design, or taking a product from concept through to production-ready.
Undergraduate Design EngineerSam Coulthard
Sam is a Product Design and Technology student at Aston University, currently on placement after achieving First-Class results in his second year. He has built strong foundations in engineering, design, and prototyping through projects such as leading a team of seven to develop a prototype that went on to win a Best Prototype award. With growing technical expertise in CAD, 3D printing, visualisation software, and AI design, he brings enthusiasm, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on mindset to every project.
